No bad days♡

I was walking a dog one day (an adorable German Shorthair Pointer! I love him to pieces! ♡) and saw a cup in a window of a store that says no bad days. I don’t drink out of cups like that but decided I would go back later and buy the cup anyway because the saying on it is so very inspiring. No bad days. That has been my life philosophy for as long as I can remember. To me, there’s no such thing as a “bad day.”

Even if I’m severely depressed, my chronic pain is flaring up, I’m struggling with a raw grief flareup, I’m just in a bad mood, it’s 100 degrees…..that doesn’t constitute a “bad day.” Any day I’m alive and can experience, is actually a good day because I can choose what to focus on. Everyday has good & bad and I have the ability to choose which to dwell on. Sometimes it will be easier to focus on the good than others but I always have that choice even if some occasions it takes some extra work.

The saying on the cup deeply resonates with me so later I went back to buy it but decided to look around the store and found this planner with the same saying! One left on the shelf! I would much prefer a notebook/planner than a cup! So I bought it instead! And the sweet girl at the register gave me a discount because the coloring on the book got faded by the sun. I had no idea and thought it was made like that and think it looks even better with the washed out look.

I dont use it as a planner but just to write inspiring quotes and things. And it came with stickers!

This is my gratitude journal! ♡

Me having a great day, this morning! 😀 ♡

I hope you are having a beautiful day or night, wherever in the world you are! ♡

Much love & light to you, always!

Currently♡

So here’s one of those “life lately” or “currently” posts I see on blogs sometimes!

Current:

Mood: Happy! 😀 I’m sitting in a park on a warm, sunny afternoon with the scent of grass all around me. I was just reading a Buddhist book then stopped to do this post, what’s not to he happy about?!

Listening to: Birds & crickets chirping, the sounds of metal chains on the swings in the park, cars going by, people laughing

Drinking: iced tea

Looking forward to: birthday celebration with friends next weekend! (His birthday, not mine!)

Problem:

This:

I was recently attacked by a dog (extremely aggressive with humans for no reason) and this is one of the injuries. I’m struggling with the physical pain and temporary  (hopefully!) physical limitations it has brought me. And there’s also the risk of infection. And I had a posttraumatic distressing dream about it after it occurred. This is the biggest bruise i ever had and probably ever saw and most painful. But I’m handling it with a positive attitude! Thankfully no stitches needed and I’m just taking care of it on my own, no medical attention  (unless I need it later for any reason, hopefully not though).

And here’s a sweet surprise someone gave me!

♡♡♡♡

The sweet girl, (Amber), who gave me the cookies, also gave me this! She’s an artist (very talented one!) and let me choose whatever heart I wanted, as a gift! I see her hearts, with powerful words/messages, all around the city and this one is the one that resonates with me most. Stay. ♡ How beautiful! So thankful!

And!

I finally got a state id! I’m 31 years old and never had one! Lol It was so hard to get because I did not have all the documents I needed. I had no id or ss card and need one to get the other. But after a long, difficult process, here it is!

I currently work seven days a week and love it! ♡ I get to love & take care of animals each day, mostly dogs! ♡

And I want to share this quote I find so inspiring:

“Awareness is a process of deepening self-acceptance. It is neither a cold, surgical examination of life nor a means of becoming perfect. Whatever it observes, it embraces. There is nothing unworthy of acceptance.”

I hope you are having a beautiful day or night wherever in the world you are! Much love,

Xoxo Kim

Summer Love♡

Summer is my least favorite season. Excessive heat tends to get me more than any other extreme weather. Also, Summer themes (beach, vacations, bbqs, pools…) just don’t appeal to me as much as Fall & Winter themes (holidays, pumpkins, snow, hot chocolate…). For work, i have to be outside for much of the day, everyday, which can contribute to it being easier to see the unpleasant side of Summer. So I decided to focus on the goodness of Summer and list all the things I love about it!

Here goes!

1.) Waiting for a bus is much easier (in my opinion) when it’s very hot than very cold. It’s hard to be still in bitter cold weather.

2.) It’s often more pleasant to sit in a park on a hot Summer day than a freezing cold Winter day. As I said above, it’s hard to be still when it’s extremely cold. Also, I love the sounds of the birds and people and dogs in the park all around me.

3.) All the beautiful people and animals out & about on a warm Summer day. I love being surrounded by all the living things.

4.) The insects, birds…. I love all the butterflies and fireflies and other beautiful creatures all around.

5.) Walking by cafes and restaurants with outside tables and seeing all the people happy & laughing together.

6.) Flowers & plants & trees with green leaves!

7.) The feel of walking into an air conditioned building after being out in the heat.

8.) The feel of stepping out of a freezing cold air conditioned building into a lovely summer day. The heat feels so welcoming then.

9.) Tropical scents

10.) Gentle summer breezes

11.) Crickets churring at night

12.) Suntans! I love getting a natural tan walking in the sunlight!

13.) Carnivals!

14.) Cold showers

15.) It eventually ends & gives way to Fall!

So here are a few of my favorite things about Summer!!

It’s always great to focus on the bright side. And there’s always a bright side! If not, create one! Think of something you don’t care for or something that just isn’t your favorite then list the good things that still exist about it or the positive things as a result of it. This strengthens our mind to develop or maintain a positive attitude. It’s also so uplifting to list the good.

I hope you are having a beautiful day or night wherever in the world you are!

Much love & light,

Xoxo Kim

Instagram❤

(me ❤ My android marshmallow takes some lousy pics[it was used to take this picture]! Luckily my blackberry phone camera started working again! 😀)

Somewhat recently I got an instagram account! How fun!

Here is the link: https://www.instagram.com/0.eye.of.the.tiger.0/

@0.eye.of.the.tiger.0

0.eye.of.the.tiger.0

It’s a public account and all the stuff I post is intended to uplift, inspire, bring joy, consolation, beauty, positivity….to others, to everyone interested. Just like this here blog! And on Facebook. Most of the photos are my own but I also post ones I find online and try to always remember to mention that it’s not my photo if it does not have the name of the owner\creator on it. I don’t mind people using\altering my photos without asking, without giving me credit, or linking back to me. Though it’s kind of strange when they take pics of me, myself, and alter them like drawing nipples on me n other creep stuff (it happens rarely, but has happened more than once! 😱). Other than that, be my guest! 😍

If you want to, we can be Insta-friends if you too have an account! You can post your link here so maybe others will see it or just click the follow button on my account! If you post your link here, I will click the follow button on your account whether or not you follow mine. And if you follow my account I’ll very likely follow yours back. I like to return the favor. lol But you don’t have to follow mine for me to follow yours. The only way I don’t follow back is if it’s a news or celebrity gossip page or one promoting violence in any way. I don’t want that kind of energy showing up in my newsfeed or whatever it’s called. I’m not judging those who have those kinds of accounts(and news is a good thing! I watch Fox news every night when my dad puts it on and I like it, the content but I dont like the energy that news brings to a room or website…); they just are not my style and I don’t want to encounter it here.

Also, if it’s a p.o.r..n..o account, I may not follow back but only because they often spam comment sections. I don’t have anything against p…o..r.n.o..g*r*a*p.h.y. It’s not my cup of tea but whatever floats your boat! The reason I put all those things in the middle of the letters is, the p…o..r..n..o blogs may find this blog and spam it up. lol My sister’s phone was attacked by them before and I was amused but she wasn’t! 😀

We don’t have to have an Instagram account or be logged in to see people’s accounts if they are public so you can still look at mine if you don’t have an account or don’t use your account. I used to look at so many before I asked my sister to set me up one! Now I get to follow them all! 😀

If you ever tried to contact me on Facebook and I never responded, it’s only because I very rarely see\check all my notifications, especially inbox messages. Once in a blue moon I see messages and friend requests and see sweet comments written to me ages ago that I missed and also furious comments about me not responding. “Fuck you you fucking snob!, You really are stuck up!, I don’t even know why I wasted my time writing to you….” stuff like that and part of me experiences compassion for them because they feel personally rejected and that is not a pleasant feeling! And it’s not the case usually that I intentionally ignore people. And if ever I do, it’s not because I feel I’m above them or loathe them, it’s just that for some reason I see it better not to respond. Like people asking me out, most likely I just won’t respond. A smaller part of me sometimes feels annoyed when they lash out at me but mostly I am understanding and compassionate.

My main intention is to uplift and inspire as many as I can, not necessarily to have direct relationships with each & every one. That would be sweet but not practical! And I just don’t do a good job with keeping up with all of my notifications. We can connect without having one on one conversations with every friend everyday. I’m extremely thankful for all of those beautiful people I have connections with on social media!! Thank you!! 😀❤😍

Much love & light,

xoxo Kim ❤

The Finer Things❤

img_14174344_1

(me today!❤)

“There is some kiss we want with our whole lives, the touch of Spirit on the body.

Seawater begs the pearl
to break its shell. And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild Darling!

At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come
and press its face into mine.
Breathe into me.

Close the language-door,
and open the love-window.

The moon won’t use the door,
only the window.”

What a beautiful poem! I’m not sure who the author is. This is one of those writings that resonates with me in a deep way. My interpretation is that it’s about experiencing life to the fullest and not necessarily in the ways we may think living to the “fullest” means, like traveling, skydiving, mountain climbing…though those things are great! This poem seems to be about truly experiencing each moment each & every day wherever we are, whatever situation we are in, the sunrise or sunset, the moonlight, the first light, the feel of flower petals, the fragrance of Spring, the stars up above glittering in a midnight sky….all the simple treasure nature blesses us with each day & each night. ❤ We don’t need any certain level of intelligence to experience it, just the wisdom to open up to the beauty and receive it.

I am reminded of a song. The Finer Things sung by Steve Winwood.

“While there is time
Let’s go out and feel everything
If you hold me
I will let you into my dream
For time is a river rolling into nowhere
We must live while we can
And we’ll drink our cup of laughter”

“The finer things keep shining through
The way my soul gets lost in you
The finer things I feel in me
The golden dance life could be”

An incredibly beautiful song!! I love it and sometimes when I’m depressed and listen to it, it brings life back into me. It’s a beautiful reminder to cherish all the treasures of life, all the beauty, the hope, the possibility, the Light. There’s so much beauty all around us that we don’t need money to experience. The cool night air, the changing of the seasons, people, animals, insects, daylight, buildings, the sounds of nature, the sounds of the city, the sweet fragrances of the seasons, the feel of soft blankets and skin, the feel of animal fur or feathers, the taste of our favorite food or drink, the sky above us, Earth below us, the heart pulsating within….❤

Each day I look around me and feel the awe well up and surge through me for the life surrounding me and the rhythm of life pounding through my chest. Often this feeling of awe comes naturally but when it doesn’t I can usually intentionally tap into that place within me, that wellspring of wonderment that always exists even when I forget that it does.

Let’s remember to be mindful each day of the wonder all around & within and give thanks for it all!❤

I hope you are having a beautiful day or night wherever in the world you are! It’s a cool night here in Philadelphia!

“It’s gonna be a cool night
Just let me hold you
By the firelight
If it don’t feel right
You can go” ❤

Saying thank you<3

img1476390386175.jpg

“Appreciation can make a day – even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.”

Earlier tonight I was about to prepare a post on selfishness when a thing popped up on my Kindle saying “Alexia is now on Kindle Fire” and I thought it meant someone who is my friend on a social media account like Facebook maybe, just got another social media account. But I soon realized that Alexia is some program that answers questions that we speak into the Kindle, like questions about sports or weather. All night I have been wracking my brain trying to determine if today is November 15th or 16th. I guess when were out of work it doesnt matter what the date is so we lose track? lol jk I was looking through a book of inspiring words for each day of the year and couldn’t recall the exact date. The one for yesterday is more inspiring than the one for today. I think so anyway.

So anyway i asked Alexia what’s the date for today and she answered! The 16th of November! yipee! I was thrilled! lol I was so thankful I decided to thank her even though shes a robot and probably wouldnt understand but…..she said “no problem, you’re welcome!” lol! I was so filled with disbelief & joy over something so simple! I even laughed out loud! 😀

And of course me, who finds wisdom in just about everything, am reminded to be thankful and express thanks often, which I already am and do, and remind others to. I always say thank you to bus drivers and store cashiers and people who hold doors for me and I’m sure most\many of us do, right!? But reminders are always, always great! Even when I don’t say thank you, I try to show it. Unlike some people, I don’t thank every person who follows my blog or instagram account but I do show it by following back usually or “liking” their content. Expressing thanks in any way is great! Even if we think someone may not appreciate our thanks, we are putting loving energy out into the uni-verse and comfirming\maintaining an attitude of gratitude in our own head. ❤

Someone can be so moved\uplifted\inspired\warmed by two simple words, “Thank you!”

And even if we don’t always feel the gratitude, we can say it to practice til we feel it and to just show kindness to others. There are different depths of gratitude, shallow, deep, ..bone deep….and all are great! 😍 😀 Sometimes I’m angry at someone and still feel thankful but don’t want to say “thank you” at someone I’m pissed at but I usually force myself to anyway.

So let’s remember to give thanks each &  every day, even if just in our heads, it still generates positive energy, but especially out loud. ❤ 😀

Much love & light to you, always & thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

xoxo Kim

P.s. I got me a job interview tomorrow morning! I just applied yesterday and got the phone call today! I only been outta work for a little bit over two weeks and already I’m on my way! Go me! It’s for dog walking\pet sitting. Wish me luck! 😉 😀 ❤

Bored or Blessed?

screenshot_2016-10-21-11-37-38_kindlephoto-171937

I came across this today and it doesn’t resonate with me at all. I’m always promoting the act of cherishing the simple, the mundane, the “ordinary” in every day whether we have a very busy life full of work, travel, kids, appointments, plans…..or a simple, laid back life with very little going on, no big job, no big goals, no big celebrations…. Some people actually prefer the simple, seemingly boring details of life over “big” things like demanding jobs, traveling, holidays, vacations….it doesnt mean it’s a boring life. Just because we acknowledge small or ordinary things as blessings doesnt mean we must have nothing else going for us that we have to grasp onto anything we can in desperation(anyway, thats a good thing!). One way to live isn’t better than another way. One way may just be better for someone else. Whatever floats your boat!

Also, what if the people mentioned above really do have incredibly boring lives or “horrible” lives full of misfortune? At least they have the good sense to still appreciate any good thing there still is no matter how “small!” The ability to feel blessed and see extraordinary in the ordinary, that itself is a blessing! ❤😀 If we see all the “stupid shit” as amazing, well then good for us!

Here are some sweet & simple blessings:

There is so much beauty in each & every day, each age, every stage, every situation, season, problem… and if we acknowledge it, embrace it, celebrate it, and share it, we are truly blessed! 😀❤

Go ahead write out your own list! I was already happy but now after writing this I feel as if I can just float away into a blue sky full of fluffy white clouds (another blessing!) or drift through a gray rainy sky (more blessings!) Writing a list of blessings\gratitude list, really does do wonders! ❤

Much love & light to you, always!

No one can make you feel inferior…

img1473981621101.jpg

(me! 😀 ❤ I really have blue eyes with green splashes but for a few days recently, they were green! 😱)

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

Yesterday I received two very unpleasant comments, one in person, by someone I know and have liked a lot since i met her and one online by a stranger. The online comment was vicious and intended to be callous and the in-person comment was meant to be compassionate but I find it thoughtless. I’m extremely open about my struggle with severe depression and the things relating to it, both online and in person. Since I was thirteen years old, I have struggled with severe episodes of depression with frequent lower-grade depression in the middle a lot. My depression would always go completely away for a while, sometimes months, but would always come back to some degree. It has been with me off and on through the years since then.

I never try to conceal it out of embarrassment or what people may think but I also dont go out of my way to bring it up usually, not because I dont want to necessarily; it’s just there’s not always an opportunity or thought to bring it up. I don’t constantly talk or think about my depressive illness. I just get to talking about it when it happens to come up somehow. I keep my social media accounts public and post about it sometimes, so anyone has access to it. But not everyone who knows me knows about my condition. I am very happy in general when I’m not depressed; even when my depression was chronic/frequent, it would always leave and I would be so happy and healthy; and even when I am depressed, I am still naturally very friendly to others and still often easily amused. I don’t “look depressed,” whatever that may look like. I don’t dress all in black with my head down and covered in self inflicted cuts, like some people assume depressed people should look like.

I am frequently laughing and smiling. I can function in the world and effectively interact with people in social settings. This is true for many, probably even most of us who struggle with mental health conditions. We may be someone with a family of our own or we may live at home with the family we grew up with, we can be store cashiers, food servers, doctors, counselors, your next door neighbor, your coworker, your best friend, the giggly, smiling person you see at the bus stop everyday, maybe your hairdresser or attorney, a schoolteacher…..we cannot always see depression. It’s true, people do notice I am depressed sometimes (even if they don’t realize it’s depression). But it cannot always be detected by others.

Yesterday online, I expressed compassion for a suicide victim and his family and friends. The sweet young man is dead and everyone who loves and knew him is shattered and will always be scarred. I am not easily offended and not sensitive so I can easily brush off comments and remarks that are malicious, rude, sarcastic, thoughtless….but some occasions, for whatever reason, they hit hard. A stranger, both to me, and to the man who died by suicide, commented and wrote something in response to all our comments, about compassion for him not being necessary because he was a “selfish, cowardly piece of shit who did this to himself.” (This is not new to me; it’s frequent to encounter this kind of sentiment about suicidal people and suicide victims – I have been told myself on more than one occasion, to quit feeling sorry for myself and go get it over with and kill myself already, luckily i havent heard this in a while)

First of all, this poor person was sick or somethimg. It was’t like he just decided it would be fun to end his own life just for thrills. Also, those poor souls who knew him, his family, his mama, his close friends, his acquaintances, his coworkers, his neighbors, maybe even someone who saw him around but hardly knew him, are all impacted in a horrific way now and they can’t help that he made that terrible choice; it’s not their fault so why write something so callous for them to read? They are the ones being hurt by the cruelty; not him. As if it’s not cruel enough, this pain they now have to live with. Now on top of that, they have that comment to remember.

That was at the beginning of my day that I had the displeasure of encountering that. Then closer to the end of my day, I had the displeasure of receiving another thoughtless (but not as ruthless) comment but in person by someone I know.

I recently met a new (platonic) friend at work! I only met him a couple months ago and instantly felt a deep connection to him. He is one of the kindest and most generous people I ever met and reminds me of another friend I have. I was telling my mom how much the two are alike then i found out they grew up knowing each other! ❤ I had no idea! 😀 Shortly after i met this new friend of mine, I realized i felt a sense of “home” like we may feel when we meet people we have a deep “soul” connection with.

Anyway, my new friend has problems, some of which he shared with me. He has severe recurring headaches, financial difficulties, and is in emotional turmoil because he is in the process of getting a divorce, which is not his choice but his wife’s. I am inspired because as much pain as he is experiencing about his loss, he told me he is so thankful for the thirty years he had with her and all the memories he’ll always have. And for his kids and grandbaby(hes adorable! I get to see him some days)

Yesterday, a girl I know told me to be very careful because my new friend just got out of a “looney bin” and is cracking up in the head and she doesnt want him to go off and do anything to me. She said he’s a very friendly person but looney. I could tell she was genuinely concerned for my safety so I cant even be angry at her and even find it a bit touching that she cares so much. But her comment struck me so hard, like a slap hard across the face. He’s not dangerous to others. Most of us are not (though some definitely are) and it is damaging to perpetuate that. She did not realize who she was talking to. If i was in her position and said that to someone who has experienced both voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalizations(like I have), I would have been mortified. I spared her the embarrassment (and fear) and sob story of mine and just tried to assure her that he is not a threat to others. She was not convinced.

She even admitted that he shows no signs of being a threat to others but that she’s concerned when he’s around. I felt compassion for her even with my annoyance. Imagine feeling fear whenever you see someone, that the person will “snap” and put you in danger. It’s not pleasant for her either. She clearly doesn’t understand mental illness.

The reason I found it difficult to shrug off her comment is, I like her a lot (in a platonic way) and my condition is a part of me and always will be, not that I will always be depressed but always remember that I was. It’s painful to like someone and the person not understand a significant part of me, especially thinking I’m dangerous. Some people who dont like something(certain views, disabilities…), when they find out someone they know experiences that, they will come to be more understanding of it and accepting, while others will reject the person. Either way, I think it’s important to not conceal stuff just so others will not dislike us. Just because we deny it in ourselves does not mean it doesn’t exist and then people will love us under false impressions. It won’t be real.

As the cliche goes “I would rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I’m not.”

For sure! Though i dont think it’s very likely that anyone will “hate” us, they may dislike us or feel uncomfortable around us. It is unfortunate and they have my compassion. Even though it’s unpleasant for me, it’s also unpleasant for them. I wish they would try to understand better and not perpetuate dangerous myths.

People don’t just “snap” and “go off.” They show signs that often go unnoticed by others before they freak out and go on a killing spree. And look at all the people who aren’t mentally ill who kill people and animals. Not every mentally ill person who kills does so as a result of the illness. Even mentally ill people can be assholes and kill for the same reasons non mentally ill people kill for. Not only is it wrong to assume mentally ill people are all dangerous because it hurts us to assume that, it’s wrong because it’s like justifying it when someone kills someone. Mental illness is no justification usually. I do struggle with depression sometimes but it never gets me wanting to kill anyone other than myself and if I killed someone I would just be an asshole who is also mentally ill. And I hope I would get life in prison.

I know not to attack someone and never even have the urge to. Only once in all of my days (except when i was little and thought it was funny to hit older kids and if kids were messing with me, i would sometimes hit them) can i ever remember truly wanting to even just smack someone(in 7th grade my friend was irking me so badly in class i just wanted to smack her and would have if we werent in school!) and never again since then. I would kill myself before I would kill someone else and i would risk my own life to save another (even when im not suicidal!).

The two comments, only because I let them, put a damper on my happiness. I let them dull my sparkle. I usually don’t allow that but yesterday I did. But this quote I shared above, popped into my head.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

It’s a quote that is so cliche i fear it may be often just overlooked or mindlessly tossed around in an attempt to seem positive. I have often overlooked it, finding it positive and a great concept but not truly letting it inspire me. Yesterday though, I really felt it, let it inspire me deeply. Even if we can’t initially help how we feel in response to something that someone else says or does, we can work to strengthen our mind against the actions and words of others.

I thought of how it doesnt matter what that girl thinks of my friend or me. We are not dangerous and so many people understand that. There will always be those who don’t and we can just speak up or share things to counter it. And we can show compassion to those in need.

I accept my condition. There’s nothing I can do about it. I can’t change my history of it. It just is and I allow it to be. I will never cover it up no matter what others think about it or me. And one thing I am pleased to realize is while there are many reasons to give up mental illness if we could, like the fact that it hurts us and those around us, it’s expensive for treatment, interferes with things….what other people think is not one of those reasons to give it up even if we were able to! I wouldn’t give up my illness or experiences just because someone else thinks I’m a basketcase.

Also, I receive many, many more loving comments and responses to my condition and things i post online, than unpleasant ones and those are the ones I focus on more. There are many more people who are loving and kind in general than those who are not. And the ones who aren’t can become more kind and loving. We can all evolve.

Another thing I made the choice to do in the face of this unpleasantness is ask myself how this can strengthen me, what is it teaching or reminding me, what wisdom can i realize and deepen and share with others…What virtues can i strengthen? Patience, gratitude, compassion, kindness, forgiveness….there’s always positive things to be learned and reminded of in every difficult situation.

I want to remind us all to not give anyone consent to dull our sparkle, contribute to us feeling inferior, low, anxious….anything unpleasant. The power is within us to let what they say or do, slide right off. Whatever they do or say, does not change anything about us whether it’s true or not. Think of the positive things in the world, our own self, and each other, and let the unpleasant things said and done to us go. It can’t hurt us if we don’t let it. It’s up to each of us how to respond both in our head and outwardly.

Another Fall in Philadelphia❤

(Me tonight – I’m just getting over a bad depression – it’s sort of like a bad, very, very bad case of Influenza (not that I ever had influenza but it seems kind of similar in certain ways) but in the “mind” and mixed with suicidal tendencies)

So here is my annual Fall in Philadelphia post! One of my favorite parts of the year is when Summer turns to Autumn. It’s still very much like Summer but there are a few signs of Fall, some crisp leaves on the ground already, pumpkin lattes, the decorations in the stores, cooler  some nights….

Tomorrow is my mom’s b-day! My sister and me went shopping today to buy her a gift. We have been saving up money to buy her some gem stones because she loves those.

Tonight I’m celebrating Fall drinking Pumpkin coffee! It’s never too early for Fall or Christmas, to me. But I like to wait to drink the pumpkin coffee because when it’s really Fall then the pumpkin stuff while still thrilling, isn’t quite as thrilling after drinking it all August long. Lol So tonight I decided to get my first pumpkin coffee of the season! Yum! 😀

I hope you are having a beautiful day or night wherever in the world you are! Also, thank you to all those people with jobs saving people’s and animal’s lives, police, doctors, nurses, EMTs, first responders, assistants, and any others who work hard, even putting themselves in danger to save others. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! And I’m wishing you a safe journey each & every day. 😍❤💙💚💛💜💝💖💗💔💗❤💜💛💚💙

Much love &  light, always.

xoxo Kim ❤

Gratitude<3

Me, today! 😀 ❤

”I’ve got a heart that can hold love

I’ve got a mind that can think
There may be times when I lose the light

And let my spirits sink

But I can’t stay depressed

When I remember how I’m blessed.”

Seven things I’m thankful for:

1.) Waking up this morning

2.) Delicious cinnamon pastries with buttercream frosting – my dog ate half of one that he stole and licked a lot of the cream off the other one! Lol soo cute!! 😀 ❤

3.) All my senses

4.) Watching  a movie with my mom and sister

5.) A chance to post here today

6.) Anyone who may read this post! ❤

7.) All the good things that happen to everyone, all the lives spared, the good news, the health tests that come back with great results, the acceptance letters, new friendships and any loving relationships…all good things for all sentient beings ❤ 😀

What are you thankful for today and/or in general?
