I adopted little Giggles & Topsy out of a horror art shop. Giggles is a one-of-a-kind clown doll, said to be haunted by the spirit of a joyful little boy clown who was suddenly struck and killed in a forgotten nursery circus. No one knows what struck him in the head. The black spot on the head, oozing with blood, represents the injury that killed him. And his pj’s are covered in blood. Now he rests for all eternity in a sorrowful slumber.
The spirit is said to be docile, peaceful, quiet, and sleepy during the day, and active at night. It’s possible when Giggles is around, you’ll wake in the night to hear faint clown/circus music playing in the distance. (I have yet to hear it, but I did create a Calliope Playlist just before Giggles arrived lol) Giggles likes to dream about his living days in the circus.
Giggles & Topsy are best friends who are meant to stay together. They sleep better when together. Topsy was Giggles’ elephant in the circus when alive. Topsy is the large elephant. The small elephant is a baby lovey the artist sent. They also sent a beautiful baby blanket with elephants. I love it!
What a cute (and horrific 😆) little story! I have been wanting a clown doll, especially a reborn one. But they are super expensive, so I decided I just want any clown doll. Then I happened to find this little reborn clown on Vinted, created by Tide and Toxin, a shop where the artist makes all horror/dark art dolls. The prices are so low! Low enough that I would suspect a scam if not for the many great reviews. The seller has only five-star reviews.
Giggles is made of soft vinyl and has a cloth body.
All the babies come with their own little backstory and certificate of manifestation. Some are so aggressive and evil they have to be contained in an enclosure (I hope to adopt one of those one day) 😂 Sweet little Giggles and Topsy are harmless spirit companions.
I have an authentic lifesize monster reborn I adopted out of SunnyBee Nursery. But this clown is my very first horror doll! I hope to adopt more! I love alternative/horror/fantasy reborn babies! 🖤
Even though this lil clown has a frown and is covered in blood and has a grim backstory, he brings me joy! 🎈🤡❤️
