I’m beautiful (and toothless), dammit β€οΈ

That’s it, baby! When you got it, flaunt it!
Flaunt it!
This is the Divine Miss M
And I’m here to share with you
Some rare and stimulating insight
Into my cosmic fabulosity
It’s really very simple
I simply believe with all my heart:
I’m beautiful
I’m beautiful
I’m beautiful, dammit! ❀️

I’m beautiful (and toothless), dammit! Lol

This is a post meant for Facebook, and I’m just sharing here.

This is the first picture of me with an open-mouth smile that I’m sharing in SIX years!

This is such a pretty picture of me, I must say.

(It’s a toothless pic, but it’s also very much a boob pic. I may need dental implants, but I certainly don’t need boob ones, as I’m sure you can see lol!)

I would date me, even with no teeth (πŸ˜‚ Actually, I prefer masc women, but I may make an exception for myself πŸ˜†).

I almost considered setting this as my default. πŸ˜† And yes, it’s 100% real.

I was going to post another picture and then a picture of me smiling with no teeth in the comments for anyone who wants to see, so it wouldn’t gross anyone out who doesn’t want to see. But it’s actually not bad enough to have to be censored lol

I considered sharing a pic of me toothless the other day and then thought nahh…then a troll on here inspired me to share this. And I’m glad he did because I wouldn’t have realized just how pretty I still am with an open-mouth smile, even with no teeth.

This is exactly one week after having 16 teeth extracted and oral and jaw surgery with bones being broken and sawed and gums and tissue being deeply cut into and stitched.

(I made a mistake, I had 18 surgeries last week, 16 for teeth, and two jaw surgeries, but it was only 16 teeth removed at once, not 18, whoops! My mistake)

Blocked out the girl’s name because she’s only a student, and this is where she goes to school. I don’t want to blast her information.

My mouth cleaned up good! It looks all clean and clear and healthy color. There are some bone fragments showing, but that’s normal. It no longer tastes like blood. The pain is significantly less, but still present. Now both hot and cold soothes it. Before only cold did.

My jaw still hurts a good amount. But I don’t wake in agony in the middle of the night now. When I wake in the morning, the pain is ok. I no longer instantly reach for the bottle of Tylenol next to me while having anxiety about it wearing off too soon and having to live in anguish til I can take it again. I do still take Tylenol PM at night. Tylenol doesn’t take serious dental pain away but sometimes was taking the edge off to help me cope a bit better. The pain is mild enough now that Tylenol helps at night.

I had no idea I had jaw surgery last week, until I saw it on my patient portal last night. That explains the intense jaw pain. I thought it was my tmj dysfunction flaring up.

It did trigger that also, and that’s why the pain was so bad. It says these procedures should only result in mild to moderate pain. My pain was severe, and I handle pain very well. The jaw surgery was done to prepare it for dentures. I never knew dentures require minor jaw surgery. I learned the hard way πŸ˜† Because I have a jaw dysfunction, it hurt extra.

There are occasionally still electric jolts randomly surging through my face. But I can blow my nose with no pain now. And the pain when swallowing is minimal. No bleeding.

And…I can smile again! 😁 It hurts slightly to smile, but nothing I can’t handle.

Apparently I am lying about having no teeth. Lolz And my pictures of me are fake. πŸ˜†

I’m a big pathetic, lying loser who just wants the image online of having no teeth and having surgery.

I have a mouth full of perfect, beautiful pearly whites.

If only!

According to this clown, Eric Berg, some online rando I never even knew exists until last week, I’m full of shit about having no teeth/tooth extractions/oral surgery. I just want the image of being someone with no teeth and having had surgery.

He sent me a friend request last week and has been laugh reacting all week to all my photos of me and all my posts about my teeth being extracted recently.

He was laughing at my posts before he sent me the request (I did not know what he was laughing at, but my gut told me not to accept him, and as usual, I did not listen to my gut, which, as always, turned out right lol I guess it’s common sense you don’t add someone laughing at every picture of you and posts where you say you’re in agony and begging the uni-verse for relief πŸ˜†).

Turns out, he sent me the request so he could comment on my posts since my comment settings don’t allow randos anymore because of trolls.

All week he has been putting mocking comments and laughing and calling me a clown.

Then, after a week, he called me fake and pathetic and a liar and a loser and told me I am faking my dental work to have a fake image online.

Then, he blocked me.

Imagine needing a life that badly that you troll a random stranger online for a week (and I ignored him all along until I finally responded and he blocked me. I guess that’s what he wanted, to finally provoke me before blocking). Lol There was another man who has been my friend on here for years, who was laughing at all my posts about my dental work also. Rick Quall or whatever. I had issues with him before. I blocked him. I thought it was because I have no teeth, but maybe it’s because he also doesn’t believe it?

Yeah, I just love being 40 years old and having the image of having no teeth. That’s what I want people to see and think about me. I want to be known everywhere I go as the toothless woman. I hope the first adjective that comes to mind when anyone thinks of me is: “toothless.” And I hope when someone is introducing me to someone new, the first thing they tell the person is that I have no teeth and had sixteen yanked out in one sitting.

In my obituary, I hope they mention I was toothless and had dentures since age 40. And I hope my headstone reads: “She was toothless.” That’s what I hope to be remembered for. I plan on making that my whole personality starting now.

I like having to get a full set of dentures like I’m 80 years old (actually, even most 80 year old people don’t need full dentures 🀣 I looked up statistics. The average 80 year old has more teeth than me lol).

I have no idea who he even is. He came out of straight up nowhere and targeted me on the day I posted about my oral surgery, and has been going at it all week. We have a bunch of mutual friends and similar political views and have never interacted before this. He was triggered by that post of me in heels where I shared my painful and unexpected experience. He said it was fake and that there’s something mentally wrong with me.

Guess he got mad seeing and drooling over what he’ll never get to have lol I’d be mad too if I saw this and couldn’t have it. But thankfully for me, I am it πŸ˜†

Yet, I struggled all week with the worst pain I ever experienced that is very, very real. I’m plagued by hunger all day each day because I have no teeth to eat anything of substance, and my gums are still too raw to use to chew something more. Liquids and mashed potatoes every day just don’t cut it. But I’m lying and faking and pretending and making up stories just for show.

I thought he was mocking me and laughing at me all week for having no teeth, but actually it’s that he doesn’t believe it. I thought it was weird to be mocking someone in as much pain as I was. But it’s because he doesn’t believe I was in any pain.

More people than not have had teeth surgically removed. The vast majority of the population has at least one wisdom tooth extracted at some point, usually in youth. Why is it so hard to believe I had teeth extracted and oral surgery? It’s not some big thing that’s so unrealistic and unfathomable that I just have to be lying.

It’s not even major surgery. There are people who have brain surgery, are they lying too because it’s just so wild? Women give birth every day, which is way more horrific than having a few teeth pulled.

Why would anyone be shocked about ANY surgery that a random stranger online says they had? What if I said I had a cesarean-section or open heart surgery? What if I said I had my appendix or gallbladder removed? Would you be shocked out of your pretty little head?

When I was 21 years old, I had emergency kidney surgery under general anesthesia for a potentially life-threatening obstruction. I was taken to a hospital ER in the middle of the night, where they told me I needed emergency surgery. Does that shock the ever-loving shit out of you and must be a big ole’ lie? Lol

People have surgery. You encounter people regularly who have had some sort of surgery. No one looks like they just had surgery either. People who have surgery don’t look a certain way. And my face actually was all swollen, I shared pics. But apparently that was just AI. Lol

But yeah, I’m lying because it’s just so wild and dramatic to have some teeth out. No one can possibly endure that. It’s just unheard of to live through a few tooth extractions, it’s a wonder I’m still kickin’ πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Why do you think for the last SIX years I haven’t posted any pics of me with an open-mouth smile? Because my FRONT teeth began crumbling out after all the back ones did, and it wasn’t too pretty!

You can even see the new crease that came on my top lip last week just after all my top teeth were ripped out of my head. Because there’s no teeth now to support my face and jaw. You can’t really see it in pictures, but my lower face is sagging because as of last week, all my back teeth are out and there’s nothing supporting my face now.

Unfortunately, I’m very much not lying. Lol I kind of wish I was lying, but then again not really. I would have to be twisted to lie about that and make up all those fake details.

I have no teeth. Just because I haven’t posted “proof.”

I share the details because it’s just part of my life, but the idea of showing what I look like with no teeth wasn’t very appealing lol I’m not embarrassed and self-conscious like years ago, but it’s not something I care to put on display for the world to see. I wasn’t going to flaunt it.

But then, why not?

This is me.

This is my reality.

And I actually don’t look terrible. I rarely to never take pics of me with my mouth open, so I thought I would look worse. I look WAY better with no teeth than the mangled up broken ones I had.

And of course another coward who had something to say but shares not one picture of himself or anything personal on his own account. It’s easy to throw stones when you’re hiding in back of a screen, probably using a fake name, and sharing no personal information. All he does is post a bunch of memes.

It’s probably projection. Fakes tending to think others are fakes.

I show my face, my whole body, the name on my state ID and birth certificate, the name I was given at birth.

Because I’m not a coward. Can you say that?

I am confident and have nothing to hide. 😁

Also, there are free and very accurate online AI detectors for text and images. Anyone who is that invested in me (because clearly some people are), can upload my pics and paste anything I write into them, and it will tell you how likely it is to be AI. πŸ™ƒ

By December this year, I should have a full set of dentures!! They will restore my facial definition and jaw structure and decrease the wrinkles and creases and sagging that my lack of teeth create. And my tmj pain flares that come and go, may lessen or go away. My mouth has to heal completely first.

Then my dental issues, the pain, the recurring infections, the jaw strain, the overuse of some joints and under use of others, having to only smile with a closed mouth…will be a thing of the past 😁

I should have moved on this years ago! But I just slacked and slacked. Then I got a dentist who slacked and slacked for two years when I finally did take steps to get my mouth all fixed up, until I got a dentist who chose not to waste a second and did all the work literally all in a few hours that could have been done years ago.

Better late than never!

Things are looking up!!

Spirit of Halloween πŸŽƒ

πŸ–€πŸ§‘

I have been in the Halloween spirit! Eating Halloween candy and listening to Halloween music and watching Halloween movies. And I got a Halloween costume! I haven’t had a Halloween costume since 2022! And before that, not since I was a kid. I kept planning to get one each year since 2022 and just never get around to it.

In 2022, I was a sexy nun.

This year, I have a different costume planned (it will be a surprise!). Just for fun and pictures. I desperately need an update, since as an adult my last one was four years ago lol Every year, I share the old pics. I’ll share again this year, but will also have some new ones!

I looked hella good in that nun costume. Let’s see if I can pull off looking that good this year lol (My Halloween costume came with a thong, but you won’t be seeing that 🀣)

Also, I dressed my reborn baby up for Halloween! Landyn is a lil monster baby, made by a real artist.

See those fangs? He can get a bit nippy πŸ˜†

My sweet Kidneyversary gift to myself! πŸ©·

🩷

Here it is! My custom-made gift to myself! An adorable kidney plushie with an extra vein! My donated kidney has an extra vein, so I requested the seller to crochet an extra one. I also chose the color and little eye lashes. How sweet!

She’s a nurse who makes the most adorable organ plushies.

It’s hilarious because it’s my left kidney that was donated, and this kidney here is a right one. I forgot to request it be a left kidney πŸ˜† She automatically makes right ones. Now, I have two right kidneys.

My actual right kidney doesn’t have an extra vein (it does have an extra artery). 🀣 So, this kidney can’t represent either one, accurately lol

I LOVE this, though, it’s the cutest. It’s perfect, just how I imagined.

Kidneys are just so adorable. They’re the cutest organ. And they pee! For some reason, that makes them even cuter. It reminds me of a pet or something lol πŸ˜πŸ«˜πŸ’™πŸ’š

Gay panic πŸ’•

I keep saying I want another woman “to do life with” and connect with and cuddle, and take care of. I keep wondering where she is and getting depressed & lonely about not having her, asking where is my Dame in shining armor.

Then, a beautiful, absolutely adorable gay woman who looks like she just walked out of my fantasies, in the flesh, comes out of nowhere and tells me I’m cute (which NEVER happens, women don’t even usually show interest in me as a friend, they literally do not know I even exist), and I freeze up and turn into a blubbering, stuttering wreck with no sense of language, mumble a barely audible “thank you,” turn, and walk away as fast as I can.

What’s wrong with me πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ I was beaming all the way home, though, felt like I was walking on air lol

This is what they mean by useless sapphic πŸ˜†πŸ˜

πŸ’œ

Nahh, ain’t no plans with a man πŸ˜†
πŸ€£πŸ’― I have to get this t-shirt one day soon lol
I’m not in New York, but, yes, I did! I attended Gay Game Night, a documentary on lgbtq+ rights activism, Drag Bingo where I got to see a drag show with Asia Monroe! πŸ’œπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

City of Brotherly Love….or not πŸ€£

I just have to share this funny random thing that happened today because it’s too hilarious πŸ˜‚

There was this weird thing at City Hall today that I never saw before. It was a large screen thing. There was a crowd of people gathered around it. I walked over to see and noticed many were putting their middle fingers up to the screen. Some of them were, passionately, holding both arms up with both middle fingers up. Like to really, really emphasize the big FUCK YOU.

I thought it must be some political thing or something. I expected to see Donald Trump on the screen. But when I looked at the screen, it was just a bunch of random people, just like us. At first I thought we could see ourselves through it, but I realized it was different people. We could see (but not hear) each other live through the screen.

I have no idea where they were, they were outside somewhere, like us. They were putting their middle fingers up at us like the people here were doing to them. There was literally no reason at all to feel the need to flip anyone off. It was just random strangers all standing there looking at each other through a screen.

It made me laugh out loud more than once. We encounter a random group of our fellow humans, and that’s how we all greet each other πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

So much for the city of brotherly love! πŸ˜†

Vein pic or boobie pic?

You decide πŸ˜†

(It’s a vein pic lol At least that was my intention, but the boobs are looking good too 😁 And the bra is only slightly padded and not even a pushup! So most of the credit goes to the girls and not the bra πŸ˜†)

I have an issue with my neck/spine/bones that results in compression of my jugular vein (the vein bulging here) and a few other veins in my neck. It makes blood collect in my neck because the vein is malfunctioning because a bone or something out of place is pressing on it. When blood tries to go where it’s supposed to, my heart, it has trouble getting there and backs up to my brain and collects in my neck. It doesn’t matter because other veins are working properly to get the blood where it has to go. It sounds worse than it is lol

It’s not life/health threatening in any way but triggers debilitating headaches, on occasion, and makes my vein bulge like that (it doesn’t always show). There’s no cure but can be treated with chiropractic care and physical therapy or invasive surgery as a last resort. But my case is mild (even though the headaches are severe), so no need for surgery, thankfully. The surgery doesn’t always work anyway. I don’t know what caused my spine issue. I wasn’t born with it. I think it may be the result of a car crash that I was in caused by an intoxicated driver in another car, who fled the scene (and was caught), around seven years ago. I suffered a head & neck injury, and headaches began soon after. This year, the headaches have become more frequent and more severe in intensity, and they last longer now when they hit. They used to last one full day, beginning overnight or in the morning, now they last two full days usually. If they were frequent, I would be disabled and not be able to work or do much of anything because of the severity. But since they are seldom, I can push through them on the occasions one is triggered. It is very difficult though, emotionally & physically, when that happens.

This year is when my vein also began bulging out of my neck. Extensive full body medical testing shows I am in perfect health, no heart, lung, or vascular issues, no blood clots, or cancer. The number one cause of the jugular vein bulging like this (this is compression, not distention, which is most often the result of advanced heart failure) is the spine or neck issue that I have. Thankfully I only have one symptom, the headaches, and thankfully they are not frequent. I can also often prevent them by not having my head elevated while laying down and not carrying heavy things for too long. The spine issue I have is mild enough to not cause me any serious limitations or too much discomfort in general other than the occasional headaches, and sometimes localized fatigue, just in the neck there. It can progress if I’m not careful, so I’m working on taking care of it. I do self massages, and make sure I sleep flat on my back or on my side, no pillow, and soon I will visit a chiropractor to come up with a plan to better manage it.

It can result in many terrible symptoms, and I only have one off & on, so I can’t complain!!

Also, I have a lot of people with a neck/vein fetish following my Instagram account just to see my vein bulging! I post pics & videos (it pulses on occasion) of it. If I don’t post my vein for a while, they message me asking me for more. So that’s a plus lol Always look at the bright side of life, am I right? 😁

Wth lol πŸ˜†

How on Earth does this happen? Lol I mindlessly tossed the keys on the steps, not even looking, and they stood up like this. This never happened before. I thought maybe there is something about the carpet that would make this likely, like it’s sticky or something, but it’s not. I intentionally tried to make this happen again, tried carefully standing them up just to see, and it wasn’t happening. I gave it a few tries and nothing. πŸ˜†

Just a random post because it’s funny lol

My big balls πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†

Lol For my August post, I’m sharing this social media post of mine a couple weeks ago. πŸ˜†

Content warning: tasteless humor πŸ˜†

My mom was walking by me in the kitchen and I began singing “My balls are always bouncing to the left and to the right; it’s my belief that my big balls should be held every night.”

And my mom yelled “Omg, that’s just godawful!!” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

I knew she would have some reaction like that.

She’s a prude lol

The reason I thought to sing this is, I was recently out walking in extra skintight leggins’ (I looked really good in them, I must say! So I wore them two days in a row, and that was a mistake!) in the heat, and the heat and friction gave me very painful welt things on my inner thighs, and they were so big they felt like they were hanging and reminded me of balls hanging. LoL Neosporin took care of it.

It reminded me of one day when my little sister was in middle school, many years ago, and for a homework assignment, she had to choose a song to write about, and my mom asked if I had any ideas, and I said yeah and said she should use the song popularly known as “Discovery Channel,” now called “The Bad Touch.” Discovery Channel doesn’t sound all that bad, does it? My mom said ok and asked to hear the lyrics and I began singing “Put your hands down my pants and I’ll bet you’ll feel nuts.” My mom was horrified and yelled “Get the hell out of here!!”

I have been called a pig/perv/unladylike…and told “You should have been a guy/must have been a guy in another life” because of my sense of humor. LoL

(this picture has no filter {just a blurry background} lol I’m really this orange because of the sun. I work outside. I did increase the saturation a bit to try to showcase the green of my new lingerie top because it looks a bit black in the photo{I have a black set too!}, so it made me appear even more orange 🍊)

πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Good day or night wherever in the world you are! 😁

Clowns 🀑

Clowns 🀑 – Too Much Joy – song

“I have nightmares filled with clowns and you’re there too

You have a big red nose and stupid floppy shoes

You’re becoming one I can see the signs” 🀑

Trigger Warning ⚠️: Phobias mentioned here

Fun fact: Last night, I had a dream about coulrophobia. So I decided to turn myself into a clown. Lol

In the dream, I was watching a movie about a young man with coulrophobia(fear of clowns). I don’t remember what his job was in my dream but whatever it was, his coulrophobia was interfering with his quality of work. For something to do with his job, he had to see a clown 🀑 or something if I remember correctly. His job was not actually about clowns though. It was something he usually did not have to encounter but it just happened that he had to cross paths with a clown now at work, just a coincidence. Maybe he had to visit someone’s house for work where they had a clown figure or photo? I don’t really remember much about that but whatever it was, his quality of work was greatly suffering and his boss was angry. He ordered him to be treated with exposure therapy, a form of treatment often used to treat phobias. The young man was having emotional difficulty with the exposure. He had to walk alone into a dark room in an old warehouse or factory or something like that, at night, full of life sized clown mannequins so he can get used to them and no longer be afraid. He couldn’t handle it.

In the movie in my head, his boss called him and was angrily telling him to get his shit together and stop acting like a coward and get on with it because he had work to get done. He was tired of his “nonsense.” I can still hear his voice dripping with arrogance, disdain, indifference to someone else’s suffering.

The movie in my dream was about how people who were murderers, dressed as clowns just like the clown mannequins used for his exposure, and creeped into the building and stood in the room next to the fake ones so they could eventually jump out at him during his exposure treatment. Lol It wasn’t part of the therapy and his boss wasn’t in on it. They were just psychos who somehow knew about it. They were strangers.

In my dream, I somehow got into the movie. Like it somehow turned real. But this wasn’t strange in my dream like it would have been for real. Like in reality we would be amazed, shocked, or confused if we somehow got into a movie or a movie turned real. But in my dream it was just a casual thing. The movie was all of a sudden not a movie and was real life and I was in it. I was walking into the dark room with the clowns. I knew the killers were in there since I just was watching the movie and wasn’t sure if they would lunge for me or not. But I had something to do in that room. I don’t remember what or even if I knew in the dream but I wasn’t sure if I should keep going and fulfill my obligation or turn around and leave since the killers were in there. The young man wasn’t there and I knew he would be coming soon. I think whatever I had to do was for my own job. This is realistic of me to still consider doing something that needs to be done even if it may be dangerous to me. I work with dogs and sometimes they can be aggressive. There are occasions I still considered interacting with them even when they clearly wanted to rip me to shreds. Lol And occasions I had to still feed and give them water while they were coming at me because a dog has to eat. Lol So this part of my dream makes perfect sense.

I wasn’t scared in the dream but a bit anxious and my body was tense like it was deciding it maybe should run. Then I saw some of the clowns moving and a vague thought crossed my mind like is this real or is it part of a movie I was just watching. It was like reality (the dream’s reality) and the movie blended.

So I wasn’t sure what would happen. Are they going to get me or ignore me? I had a feeling like they weren’t going to try to kill me. This is how I am for real in general, very trusting and always expecting the least bad thing to happen. I generally have this feeling like everything will work out well. I am not very anxious. I have suffered a couple bouts with anxiety but am generally not someone who is anxious. So I wasn’t extremely concerned for myself.

This feeling like this is real but also not is difficult to explain but in the dream it made sense. It was like a blend of something. Like sort of real, sort of not. I think this is common in dreams.

I think I decided not to walk into the room just in case the clowns tried to kill me. Better safe than sorry. Lol I remember walking away with this feeling of being very safe.

Then I woke up. Lol Intrigued by the dream. I don’t know what provoked that vivid and detailed dream or if there is really a movie like this but if there is one, I haven’t seen it. My head just made it up.

I had exposure therapy myself in reality, a few years ago, for debilitating claustrophobia. It began as professional treatment but I quit and handled it on my own, continuing exposure on my own terms. My claustrophobia was interfering with life because I have to get on elevators for work. There is no option sometimes to use the stairs and my claustrophobia was taking over everyday even when I did not have to get on elevators that day because I knew I would soon have to get inside them. In my dream, I sort of remembered my real life exposure therapy and how it was absolutely frightening at first and I experienced empathy and compassion for the young man. It’s like cruelty, irony, the thing we fear most in life is the very thing we must come face to face with alone, to get better.

I used to avoid elevators at all costs. I used to run up 20 or more things of stairs just to avoid them. This wasn’t a problem because I am very healthy and fit and energetic, always have been. But in college I had to get to buildings early to be able to run up 20 or more floors without being late for classes.

Sometimes that isn’t an option and stairs are blocked off. Some years ago, my claustrophobia triggered suicidal depression in me to the point I couldn’t even hold my toothbrush to brush my teeth in the mornings. I couldn’t handle knowing on any random day I may have to go into an elevator and that triggered a depressive episode that became no longer about that; the depression took on a life of its own. So I was struggling with a severe depressive episode on top of a bad, bad case of claustrophobia.

I grew up claustrophobic for an unknown reason. I have been for as long as I can remember, mostly about elevators. But it was rarely a problem because I rarely had any reason to have to get into them. So it may not have been able to be diagnosed as claustrophobia back then. Sometimes I had to avoid visiting people in hospitals because I couldn’t get into an elevator to the hospital room. On the occasions I did force myself, I would have some psychiatric breakdown. I have collapsed in crippling panic and have embarrassed family in front of strangers at the mere thought of getting into an elevator. Now I think it’s hilarious, especially embarrassing my mom and dad. One day when I was little we were all on a glass elevator with a stranger and I began to panic. I screamed at the top of my lungs and began kicking and flailing my arms and yelling let me out, let me out, let me out….just to go up two floors. The stranger turned and just stared in shock. My mom and dad were so embarrassed. ” My mom yelled, “Kim, you did NOT have to act like that!!!” It gives me a good belly laugh now when I remember it. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜„πŸ˜Ή I remember my body flooded with sweet relief when that door opened.

All these years later, if I wanted to keep my job, I had to get over it. And I did. Years of claustrophobia gone in just a few weeks of simple regular exposure. Exposure works wonders, at least for me. It made me realize how something so powerful and debilitating is actually very, very weak.

Whenever I had to step into an elevator, it felt like I was going to die. My mouth dried up and always tasted like metal, like literally tasting fear. My entire body felt squeezed in the chokehold of death. The fear is so powerful it feels like I would *literally* go insane, like lose all sense of language and awareness and bodily movements. I felt like I could claw out my own eyes and claw off my own skin. And one day I actually did claw my own skin off when I was in an elevator alone as a teenager. There was no way out of the building unless I got into an elevator. I went into a panic and just mindlessly began ripping my skin off with my fingernails. Everything turned white like this blinding light around my head. I couldn’t see or think. All I could do was claw at my own body, my arms and ab, all bleeding when I finally stepped out of the elevator.

Welcome to my nightmare. πŸ–€

(almost had a cow when I saw this a couple years ago 😳 🀣 Just sitting there, doors wide open as if to tempt me; it felt like it was watching me, daring me. Lol It’s an old out of service elevator in a building I visit for work. It hasn’t been in use for some years and is in a strange place, not near the rest of the elevators and looks all old and dingy while the rest are newer looking and its doors are ALWAYS closed. But one day, I walk by and the doors are open! Holy guacamole! My heart nearly leapt out of my chest. Luckily my claustrophobia was already healed by then but this thing made it want to come back 🀣😭😹 Some things you just can’t unsee)

It has always felt like an eternity before the doors opened again and a sense of deep, deep dread and despair & regret as I watched them close on me.

It’s a kind of fear that knocks the wind out of me and takes my whole breath away. I have been in awe at how powerful it is.

I had a relapse once after mostly recovering when it seemed like an elevator door took a second too long to open, when I was inside by myself. It came back with a vengeance. It was way worse than before. I got mostly rid of the claustrophobia on my own by getting into elevators with dogs and found it healing. Then it came back then the regular exposure on my own helped significantly.

Now even if a door seems to take longer to open, I don’t have breakdowns or relapses. I get into elevators everyday by myself with no problems at all and find them very peaceful. Like a very brief reprieve where the outside world and all its problems and noise and stress and drama can’t touch me.

I love how a place that once felt so dark and cold and deadly is now a place of warmth and security like being wrapped in a cozy blanket.

There are some random occasions, I am a bit anxious with elevators and avoid them or sometimes suck it up and get into them anyway. But it’s not frequent. And not severe. I know if I am already anxious about something else, something unrelated, and have to get into an elevator, it sometimes triggers the claustrophobia but it goes away again. I believe if I ever stop getting into elevators for a long while then I do again, the claustrophobia may come back. I have experienced this already. So I try to get into them as much as possible to keep it away. It’s a lifelong condition that has to be controlled with regular exposure or I will go insane with fear again.

I don’t know what is up with this dream. Lol But it reminds me a bit of my own real experience. Even the old, dark warehouse where the clowns were. My work office used to be in one. Lol

I am not afraid of clowns and never have been. This wasn’t a scary dream at all. It wasn’t a nightmare even though it may seem like it. I don’t usually have dark or scary dreams. They’re usually positive, happy, or mundane. Though I have been plagued off and on, for as long as I can remember, by nightmares about being inside elevators and being stuck in them, sometimes with people, usually alone. Or sometimes terrifying dreams knowing I will soon be getting into an elevator. Sometimes I wake myself up before it happens or I force myself awake after I get into one if I can. I still have them on rare occasions but almost never since the claustrophobia went away. They are horrifying dreams and just dreadful. I had them since I was little even when I did not have to get into elevators and haven’t been recently in one. My brain just obsessed with them for some reason. I don’t ever remember any unpleasant experience with elevators that made this happen, just grew up with it. My earliest memories are terror when near an elevator. Couldn’t even bring myself to look at them walking by. I used to curse whoever invented them. I felt like that person destroyed my life sometimes.

This dream is bizarre for me because I don’t usually have them like this and it seems a bit creative. I’m not someone who is a creative writer or anything. So I don’t know why my head made this up.

Very recently, like just over one week ago, I saw the word “heliophobia” and looked it up to see what it is(a fear of the sun or bright light) and while scrolling, the word “coulrophobia” showed up. I think this is what inspired the dream but don’t know why just seeing that word and a pic of a clown holding balloons would inspire a whole story in my head while I sleep. Lol It’s heliophobia I was was interested in, not the clown one.

And the dream was very, very vivid. I remember the clowns and their faces and their pastel colored pj’s and balloons.🎈 And I remember the young man very clearly but don’t remember ever seeing him for real in person. I read before that all faces we see in dreams are real faces we saw at one point in life, even if years ago. It doesn’t mean in the dream they were who they are in reality, just that the face is real. I don’t know if it’s true.

Horror movies are my guilty pleasure, which I think also contributed to the dream, and I think this would be a good movie! 😍

I hope you are having a beautiful day or night wherever you are!
